Jane and Simon were fab hosts, giving us lots of advice on the best places to visit, such as Kilve beach and the fantastic tea room there. The evenings were lovely and we felt very welcome to hang out in their living room, we really enjoyed our chats along with Simons delicious cocktails! The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed where we slept like logs every night! Jane and Simon have a beautiful garden, and we even got a visit from the elusive otter. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and one that we would definitely recommend!

Jane and Simon were amazing weekend hosts, this was actually my second visit because I couldn’t wait to go back after my first experience. Their home reflects the creative personalities they are, it is a special place full of their personal touches and treasures from their adventures. There is tons to do within the surrounding villages, Wells has the famous cathedral and a buzzing Saturday market. Cheddar gorge and the Glastonbury Tor are great ways to stretch your legs and get a bit of country exercise. I think the real hidden gem though is actually the pub only 2 minutes walk down the road “The Sheppey”. It fits right in with Jane and Simon’s artistic flair, a very cool, very eclectic place that is hard to even summarise in a description, you just need to go!!Book ahead though, it gets busy, not surprisingly because the food is beyond delicious.Perfect way to cap off a day!!

Jane was the perfect host, before we had even arrived she had looked at public transport into Bath and recommended a great pub a few doors up. The house was amazing with a generous sized bedroom and ensuite. Jane & Simon have great taste in furniture and decor which makes this property unique! Whilst there Jane recommended a place to watch birds, cider factory and a great pub called the Sheppey. We went to all three and we were not disappointed! If you want to be looked after and get away from the rat race this is the place to be…Thank you Jane.
