The Railway Rev Up event hosts a display of vintage tractors cars, lorries, steam rollers, and more. Live music, tombola, raffles & 75/25 auction plus car boot sale on the Sunday, all in aid of Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.

The Railway Inn is just down the road from RSPB Ham Wall Nature Reserve so why not spend some time visiting this National Nature Reserve and enjoy the tranquility then walk over to The Railway Inn and grab a pint of Somerset cider from Roger Wilkins farm or a pint of creamy Guinness.
Meare is about 15 minutes drive from Lower Godney and on the way you will also pass Westhay Moor Nature Reserve which is home to Westhay Moor is home to many globally-threatened species and rare or local species such as the Otter, Bittern, Marsh Harrier and Hairy Dragonfly.
