Hummus recipe











1 x 400g chickpeas (keep the liquid to use later on)

2 tsp tahini

2 coves garlic, crushed

1 tsp crushed sea salt

Ground black pepper

Juices from 1/2 lemon

3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Paprika pinch

Cumin 1/2 teaspoon


Rinse chickpeas tip into food processor, add tahini, crushed garlic, pepper, salt, lemon juice & 3 or 4 table spoons of the reserved liquid from can of chickpeas. Put the food processor on and add the olive oil whist it runs. It is as simple as that!


Experiment with different spices & additions like chilli, sundries tomatoes or corriander seeds.
